Law Teacher of the Year

Law Teacher of the Year – or LTOTY – is the premier award recognising law teachers’ learning and teaching activities. Previous winners:

  • 2010 – Rebecca Huxley-Binns (Nottingham Trent University)
  • 2009 – Gary Watt (University of Warwick)
  • 2008 – Fernando Barrio (London Metropolitan University) and Alastair Hudson (Queen Mary, University of London)
  • 2006 – Warren Barr (University of Liverpool)
  • 2005 – April Stroud (Southampton Insitute)
  • 2004 – Jackie Hankins (Redborne Upper School)

Law Lecturer of the Year

The Law Awards of Scotland include a law lecturer of the year category. Previous winners:

  • 2009 – Moira MacMillan (Glasgow Caledonian University)
  • 2008 – Robert Rennie (University of Glasgow)

National Teaching Fellowship Scheme

The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) was set up in to raise the status of learning and teaching in higher education. The NTFS Individual Awards recognise and reward excellence in teaching.

National Teaching Fellows in law:

Academy Senior Fellows
